Movie Night

Thanks to Sarah McGraw, Luke Thimmes, Kara Aranda, Aaron Uhl, Mr. Silcott and Fisher Catholic for putting on movie night to raise money for the Ben Thimmes Van Fund. We raised over $1,000.00 at the event to help pay for the van that Ben uses for transportation. He could go nowhere without that van so THANKS! Click on the video above to see pictures and relive the night with us! If you couldn't make it, that's OK! Donations can still be made: make checks payable to: Ben Thimmes Van Fund and send to 336 E. Chestnut St., Lancaster, OH 43130. We still have about $10,000 left to pay off, so any little bit helps!

Also, May is ALS Awareness month. Click on the link to the ALS Association's website to read about ALS and if you are interested in donating to that organization. That is where we have gotten many items loaned to use, including a Hoyer lift, which we use to move Ben in and out of his wheelchair.

We are looking at a house...we may be moving soon!

Ben Thimmes Care Team looking for volunteers! We have a wonderful care team that helps us with daily tasks. Many of these team members have been involved for a year or more. They are part of our extended family and WE LOVE 'EM!

We are looking for a few good men to add to the care team. What we need are people who are willing to be on a list that our team Captains will refer to when we need a fill-in, if someone on the care team cannot help that week. They would probably only be needed once a month, if that. The types jobs we need are:

Grocery shopping, Meals, Cleaning, MOVING!, Yardwork
